Discover new tools that CAAs are using to focus board attention on their organization’s most important financial choices and challenges. In this session, we will explore strategies to build your board’s understanding of your CAA’s current financial health and the increased emphasis that funders are placing on organization-wide sustainability and management capacity. We will evaluate new formats for financial reports and the value of dashboard presentations that use graphics to convey important trends and comparisons at a glance. Attendees will learn how improving the presentation of financial information can actually improve the usefulness of Board discussions by helping board members identify and evaluate the choices they need to make to strengthen their organization and monitor progress toward increased sustainability.
