State Plan Search Tool
The State Plan search tool from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education provides access to each state plan and also provides a tool that enables users to search the content of state plans.
WIOA Resources from the National Association of Workforce Boards
National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) “represents approximately 550 Workforce Development Boards and their 12,000+ business members that coordinate and leverage workforce strategies with education and economic development stakeholders within their local communities, to ensure that state and local workforce development and job training programs meet the needs of employers.”
- NAWB’s Workforce Investment Works campaign is “intended to educate the nation about the Workforce Investment System and its many successes across the country and to connect our citizens to the right resources.” The site includes a number of promotional videos, a compilation of WIOA success stories, links to resources for states, and other resources.
National Association of State Workforce Agencies
The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) “is a national organization of state administrators of the publicly-funded state workforce system, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), employment services, training programs, unemployment insurance, employment statistics and labor market and workforce information. NASWA delivers policy expertise on workforce development, including unemployment insurance and other transitional support, as the voice of state workforce agencies.”
- NASWA’s WIOA Resource Center links to many resources on a wide variety of topics, such as branding, finance, one-stop certification, performance measurement, service delivery, state and local boards, and state plans.
